AMELIA EARHART BECOMES FIRST WOMAN TO FLY ACROSS ATLANTIC OCEAN

 

On May 21, 1932, Amelia Earhart flew from Newfoundland to Ireland in 14 hours and 56 minutes as the first woman to do so.

Four years prior to becoming the first woman to fly across the Atlantic she was the first woman to fly across the atlantic as a passenger.  

Today we honour Amelia for all the firsts she has conquered and the millions of women in the air, and down below inspired by her bravery and skills.

Today we are featuring GWG original member Jessica alongside her dog Beana to the collection. As a personal confidant to GIRLSWITHGUNZ and longtime supporter, Jessica is the go-to for all things cool and casual. Manager by day, tracksuit aficionado by night; Jessica is rocking our Muerto Jason 'Friday the 13th' tracksuit and GWG snapback. When Jess isn't working she loves spending time with her girlfriend, dog-daughter Beana and watching hood flicks.
